Yesterday was meine Mutters birthday, and today my uncle and his wife (so I guess my aunt) came down to stay. The original plan was to go to Jamie Olivers Italian restaurant but then my mum wanted to go to see the Kings speech but before hand eat at pizza express.
However Pizza Express was fully booked so we went to one of my personal favourites, a lovely little restaurant named The Bistro, and ended up not going to the film, driving home and playing Zooloreto.

Tis been and 'ight week, I discovered a lovely hand balm by Rituals, Ginkgo's Secret, my hands are silky smooth.
The slight downside to the week is I have to remember a dressage test for tomorrow.... yeaahh I don't remember it all I remember is to walk in and then do a 20m circle (I think left) and then a 10m circle at D (where is D!!?)

Sooo yeah,
Ciao ;)

JW 2011 Spring Review

I waited a while to do this or any kind of review so if shops were holding some items back they'd have plenty of time to do so and I could then review.
So today I'm going to do my version of a review of this years spring 2011 by Jack Wills, which include my favourites.

So this year is based on sailing and the sea, so expect more fishermen macs and gondola/Navymen (whichever you see them as) stripes. The Video and handbook shoot consists of the JW crew being regulars at a deserted beach and light house dancing/running and playing pranks on each other. As the film/pictures progress so does the day and the night draws in and a bonfire is set out whereupon the crew strip and run into the sea in their undies. An often reccurence is people kissing (and more) portraying such young love and illuminating the essence of spring (although they do it very visually and close to sexual scenes and nudity)

The women special heritage garments this year are the welburn blazer 'The most feminine cut in tailored blazers for a beautifully smooth and shaped silhouette.' Was made in collaboration with Fox Brothers & Co for the best wool and at the price of £269 I sure hope so!

Next is the Ryhill stripe blazer which 'introduces a sexy silhouette to the classic and historically British boating blazer.' The wool from this one was made by Moon who specialize in luxury wool since 1837, must admit here I'm not the hugest fan of this one.

The next few folloing are the ones they wrote about in the handbook. They have done some fishermen macs (I have/will always love yellow fishermen macs) named the Whitsone. However much I love yellow fishermen macs I could probs find one that isn't £129.

Next up an Aran knitted cardigan named the Bobbington. It's of a cream colour and brown buttons which remind me of a VERY similar topshop cardigan. I rather like it but again I wouldn't spend £129 on it when the topshop one was about £39.

Now we have the Butterton and Ellenthorpe dresses. The Butterton is 'The cutest dress for spring.' and is red and white pinstriped, boned and lined to maintain shape. With the addition of pockets it is a good choice for any day or night event. The Ellenthorpe is also a strapless dress with a full skirt and ideal for a party dress. It's print desgin is from the Liberty of London archives ( rather loving the print if I'm honest)

We move onto the mens items which JW wrote about. The Waterstock jacket comes in Navy and Sand and is inspired my vintage sailor smocks 'The Union Jack appliqué badge and sailing insignia lend to the nautical design as does the white lining and woven drawstring cords.'

Then there is the Fishermead fair Isle crew neck jumper 'The Fishermead is a warm woolly wonder inspired by the jumpers originally worn by sailors and fishermen under their pea coats when out at sea.' I'm jealous I actually want this but not for £129.

The Coxheath knitted rugby is a new take for JW a.k.a. new texture (by that I mean wool things like that)

There are also t-shirts and other things but I'm too lazy to write about them.

Now my favourites:
The fishermens mac.

I'm loving the Ditton Cardie but too pricey for my liking

The Blue and White Elworth t-shirt I actually love this!! On my sale steal methinks!!
Uber loving these Skinny Chinos, I'm thinking there might be a primark version though!

The Dalewood Book bag & the Fardon Shopper. although I don't like the other side of the Dalewood.

Oh and of course the homewears :L
The Bickley cushion... Look at it I love this print!!

From the bracelets I like the Wrayton 'Birds of a feather flock together' and practically all the Walmgates.

The Widley mug again because of the floral print!!

So in all as usual I think it's a nice collection very fresh and wholesome but the price is too much as the norm.

Melodica man

So right this moment I'm nibbling on a water biscuit to fill my 'empty' stomach. I'm hoping to go to an open eve for a schools sixth form, I've rung my mother and she didn't pick up and hasn't replied this is VERY annoying and for me who worries easily on little things is being my worry self and nibbling on the biscuit helps a tad, but just a tad.

I got my mock final grades yesterday, t'was ok i'm happy with them and I know what I need to improve on. Today we got our reports back, that I was happy with, this time round no threes for engagement or independant (or anything else) ^_^ But then I get back my science retake grades (real).
I can spell duc with them -___- it's a bumer and I cried, although I didn't want to but I did, I want to thank those who said not to worry and comforted me because you guys are truly the best and can make me feel better and fill my thoughts over.

The person I'm afraid of telling is my mother, what she says is the thing that matters most to me, her approval means I've done well and I know I have failed her, I know what I'll hear 'You spend to much time on the computer doing nothing but junk'
It's not like I've heard this speech before, that how I can quote it.
I'm glad at times that these that my father works away from home during the weeks because he if just like my mother but I don't mind telling him as much because I can tell him how I feel, how disappointed i am in myself and he will understand and move on, while my mother..... education has no room for excuses and feelings and having to do better than my sister who my mother thinks failed EVEN THOUGH she got mostly A's B's and C's. So times having a headteacher for a mother has it's downs.

OH WELL I can redo the u and theres not much point in the d because I got excatly the same mark each time I did the test so I am doing some hardcore bio revision.
Strange thing is on the other Biology test I got an A and I think one or two marks off and A*
A-U how varied I can be :P

Here is something that...
Cheered me up

Go N'aw ^_^

I need some campbells ALL of them in this design, spesh the brown ones though, my LOVE

This is a bit of a splurge but oh well.

Pretty nice snappin' therr Nina :D
This is the bow from some bath bomb fizzers from next that I got as a christmas present, they take a VERY long time to fizz but look so delicious you could eat them! But as the packet says Super Sweet But Do Not Eat.

Ok and finally my father found his mothers old camera the other day and I LOVE it, I really want to find some film and get snap happy. The second picture as I took it my cat walked in although his nose looks a bit battish!!
